Benelli Chevron Front Sight Post (Luminescent Green/Tritium Dot)

Fits: Benelli M1 & M2 Tactical, M3, M4, M1014, Nova Tactical, Super Nova Tactical, Vinci Tactical, Beretta 1301 Tactical

The Blitzkrieg Components Benelli Chevron Front Sight Post provides the ultimate iron sight picture with a sharp aiming point and a bold, fast sight picture. The Tritium Dot model provides a very effective low light capability with the bold, bright glowing chevron and a Tritium Dot at the top of the chevron. The Chevron gives the perfect blend of speed and precision. The Chevron design has many unique advantages. The tip of the Chevron gives the shooter a sharp aiming point for precise aiming when precision is needed, while the bold Chevron shape is easy to see and pick up quickly without obscuring the target. The contrasting Luminescent Chevron Stripe gives the shooter a bright, eye catching sight picture that excels in both bright-light and low-light environments and the Tritium Dot adds a night capability for when the Luminescent Stripe has not been charged. The two types of illumination complement each other for all types of lighting situations.

Precision machined from one piece of billet 416 Stainless Steel with a black oxide finish for an outstanding sight picture and precise fit in Benelli and Beretta Tactical Shotgun front sights. The Luminescent Green Stripe appears more yellow in daylight and glows green in low light or darkness. It is a multi-layer paint application into a machined grove for durability and good glow characteristics.

Glow Characteristics: The Luminescent (Glow) Chevron Stripe glows very bright when charged and the glow brightness dissipates gradually in darkness. The brighter and longer the light charge is, the brighter and longer the glow will be. Sunlight and Tactical flashlights give an excellent charge. Will glow well after just a few seconds of charge, but will glow longer with a longer charge. Typically, in total darkness after being charged for about 15 seconds you can expect it to glow very bright for about 5 minutes, bright for about 20-30 minutes and at a lower level that is visible to dark adjusted eyes for several hours. This works very well to have a very bright glow when transitioning from daylight to a dark room and as your eyes adjust to lower light levels, the lower level glow will still appear bright and very easy to pick up. As the Luminescent paint begins to lose it's charge over time in total darkness, the Tritium Dot continues to provide an always-on aiming dot. This dual capability gives you the full range of night sight capability with the brightness of the Luminescent stripe when possible and the Tritium Dot when unable to charge your sights. Tritium glows green in color.

Drop-In Installation: To install, simply unscrew the nut holding your factory sight post in place and remove it. Then using the same nut and lock washer, install the new sight post in its place.

4 of 5 Sight April 30, 2021

I really like this site, the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because the dot either needs to be bigger or brighter, if the luminescent green has had enough sunlight or even your flashlight on it then it is excellent.

5 of 5 Excellent as always October 18, 2020

Great visibility, excellent sight as always. My only complaint is it took over 10 days before it was even shipped and i never received a reply to any of my emails. this is a big negative IMO but don’t reflect to quality of the sight.

5 of 5 Great stuff October 2, 2020

I have found all the Blitzkrieg sights work extremely well given reasonable objectives. This sight is for a Beretta 1301 Tactical. Older eyes require every edge available. The sight is a backup to an RMR. Setup the sight for your weapon/ammo combination, and use a round toothpick, etc., to apply a small amount of blue Loctite to the threads. The nylon lock nuts are not failsafe. BTW, my setup is yellow stripes with the tritium dot.

4 of 5 Sight Post mounted on a Beretta 1301 Tactical June 11, 2019
Reviewer: David White from Houston, TX United States
I mounted this sight post on a Beretta 1301 Tactical shotgun.  I had read that the wrench needed was 5.5mm; however, I found that this was too large and that the perfect wrench was a 7/32 in.  The sight stands higher that the factory sight requiring that the rear sight be raised appropriately.  The luminescent portion of the sight was quite bright when charged with a bright LED light source.  The tritium dot was not very bright but was adequate.  Even a factory replacement front sight post (about $8) from Beretta comes with replacement screws.  It would have been better if this sight had also come with replacement screws because the screw has the nylon lock feature which can become worn and work less well when used repeatedly.  I reduced my rating by one star because a replacement screw was not provided with the sight post.

5 of 5 Beretta 1301 (Benelli) Chevron Front Sight Post April 8, 2019
Reviewer: KCC from WINTERPORT, ME United States
I have a Beretta 1301 Tactical Shotgun. The front sight is less than adequate for quick acquisition. So I had a plan to use an Aimpoint Micro T-2 red dot as a co-witness with the factory sight. After getting this front sight this is all I am going to use with the factory rear sight, it is awesome. If you have a Beretta or Benelli Shotgun you will want this front sight.
