AR-15 Flat Front Sight Post (Luminescent Green Stripe) No Tool

This replaces standard A2 style sight posts in any typical AR-15 type fixed or folding sight. The Blitzkrieg Components AR-15 Flat Front Sight Post for AR-15 sights provides a bold, fast sight picture with a conventionally shaped flat topped sight post. The bold, contrasting Luminescent Green Stripe gives the shooter an eye catching sight picture that excels in both bright-light and low-light environments and against all types of backgrounds. It is very fast and very easy to see. The luminescent stripe is visible on ONE side so that it doesn't glow toward the enemy.

Our sight posts are precision machined from billet 416 Stainless Steel for an outstanding sight picture and precise fit in any AR-15 front sight housing including standard A2 fixed front sights and popular brands like Troy, Diamondhead, Samson, MI, YHM, Daniel Defense and Magpul plastic MBUS Gen 2. Fits anything that accepts a standard A2 front sight post. Has a durable matte black finish. The Luminescent Green Stripe appears more yellow in daylight and glows green in low light. It is a 5 layer paint application into a machined grove. This gives you a bright yellow contrast stripe in daylight and a bright green glowing stripe in low light and darkness. Simple Drop-In installation. Simply unscrew the factory sight post and screw in the Blitzkrieg Components sight post using either our sight tool or a standard A2 sight tool.

Glow Characteristics: The Luminescent (Glow) Stripe glows very bright when charged and the glow brightness dissipates gradually in darkness. The brighter and longer the light charge is, the brighter and longer the glow will be. Sunlight and Tactical LED flashlights give the best charge, but any type of lighting will work. It will glow very bright after just a few seconds of charge, and will glow longer with a bit longer charge. Typically, in total darkness after being charged you can expect it to glow very bright for 5 minutes, brighter than tritium for 30 minutes and at a lower level for a few hours. This works very well to have a very bright glow when transitioning from daylight to a dark room and as your eyes adjust to lower light levels, the lower level glow will still appear bright and very easy to pick up. Additionally, the bright glow makes the sight dramatically easier to pick up against dark targets and background clutter where black sight posts get completely lost.

I just wanted to compliment Blitzkrieg on such an awesome improvement to sight acquisition on my back-up and fixed open sights. On my tactical 5.56 I use an Eotech with Magpul Pro back-up iron sights. On the 300 Blackout I shoot old school with Daniel Defense fixed open sights. Accuracy has increased 10x.  Both sights were excellent as is but the addition of the new sight posts has put them in a class way above the manufactures expectations of accuracy and mine. After installation I can’t imagine having sights without your products.

This is my second front sight post, installed on Daniel Defense fixed sights. The first was for Magpul Pro back ups. Both now have a 100% improvement in sight acquirement. The luminous green stands out within the back sight and on darker backgrounds down range.  This sight post will greatly exceed the manufacturers expectations of accuracy and those of mine as a shooter.

I Bought one of these Luminescent Green Stripe front sights for an Aero AR-15. Luminescent works well, just be aware it is ONLY luminescent on ONE side. Maybe not too big a deal, but you will obviously need to sight in rifle via 1 full turn. At the same time of buying this luminescent sight, I also purchased an orange one for a Krebs Custom AK style rifle with AR sights. The orange sight has the orange on 2 sides of sight, so adjustments can be made by the 1/2 turn. I will be buying an orange sight for the AR as well. Orange also looks real nice against the black barrel. As a whole, nice products.

Beautiful sight and it really glows in low light conditions. I had the foresight to order the tool to install it. they have made the sight a little bigger than a regular sight and a run of the mill sight wrench is too small. Wish they would just throw in the tool with the price. For $24.00, I don't think that is asking too much or just redesign the sight to work with a regular sight tool. I am reordering another one of these for one of my ARs. You won't be disappointed with the product.
