SPRINCO Extra Power Buffer Spring - AR-15 Carbine (Red)
After extensive testing and evaluation, we have sourced the highest quality buffer springs from Sprinco USA that are properly matched in strength for 9mm applications. They have the strength, consistent performance and long service life that is needed. Stronger springs hold the 9mm bolt in battery properly and reduce bolt velocity which is important for safety, reduced recoil and service life of triggers. The spring is a critical component of the 9mm blow-back system and you need the highest quality and the proper strength for optimal performance. Our Sprinco USA Springs are made from certified Chrome Silicon wire stock to ISO 9001:2008 quality standards to withstand extreme heat and high cyclic rate. This ensures consistency in performance through high round counts. They are precision wound, heat treated, stress relieved and shot peened for extremely long service life and then moly plated for improved corrosion and wear resistance.
In
9mm AR-15s these are recommended for 4-6" barrels if using our 9mm
Hydraulic Buffer or 4-10" barrels if using our 9mm AKTIVE Buffer. If you
plan on shooting mostly lighter or softer running loads in these barrel
lengths then you may need to go with the Sprinco Blue spring or the JP AR-15 Carbine spring. If you plan on running hotter
loads and/or running suppressed, then you should use the Sprinco Red spring for these barrel lengths. Expected service
life is in excess of 30,000 rounds.
