Description

AR-15 Round Front Sight Post .06 Diameter (Black) without Sight Tool

The Blitzkrieg Round Front Sight Post is intended for those who want a conventional, fine, match type post to cover the minimum amount of the target for precise aiming when a high visibility sight is not needed.

The Blitzkrieg Round Post
is precision machined from billet 416 stainless steel to tight tolerances for an outstanding sight picture and precise fit in any AR-15 front sight housing. The finish is a black nitride (melonite) finish for toughness and corrosion resistance.

* This Sight DOES NOT include Sight Tool.

* Post Height is 0.25"

* Fits into any AR-15 Front Sight Housing that uses a standard threaded post - Any Mil-Spec fixed front sight gas block or aftermarket front sight housings made by companies such as Troy, Daniel Defense, Diamond Head, PRI, Magpul, Mid West Ind, Samson, GG&G, YHM, and any others that utilize the standard AR-15 post design. 5 of 5 A nicely made post July 30, 2018

I give five stars because there is nothing negative to mention about the post at all.  I first bought the .04 post, which I really like except for one downside, that it disappears when looking into a darker area.  So I bought the .06 (thinking that the mil-spec size must be .08, but it must be .07 after all) to find the middle ground between the mil-spec and the .04.  However, the .06 is very close to mil-spec, albeit round, and I went back to the .04.  I really like how precise the .04 aims at targets farther away, and the .06 seems like essentially the same size as the mil-spec.
So if you like the mil-spec size for the most part and you want a post that is just a little bit finer (and better machined), the .06 is good, but if you're wanting a fine post for long range sighting, go with the .04.
Also, I appreciated the darker, prettier finish that these posts have compared to the mil-spec post which came with the Magpul BUIS.  It does make a noticeable aesthetic improvement.
